WOMEN’S ROLE AND WOMEN WORKERS

In the Indonesian Government, a Minister is specially in charge of the Women’s Entrepreneur. APINDO has also women members within the national board as well as in several provincial/district boards. One of the Six Vice President of the national board is a lady.

APINDO has close cooperation with the office of the Minister for Women’s Empowerment. APINDO’s representatives are sitting in the working group for women workers, at national as well as provincial level. At a national conference on the improvement of the working condition of women workers, held by the Minister for Women Role, APINDO was represented by participant from the national board and 23 provincial boards. APINDO has participated and will continue participating in projects for the improvement of working condition of Women Workers.
