LEGAL ASSISTANCE AND CONSULTANCY

One of the main activities of APINDO, as stipulated in the Constitution and By laws, is to provide legal assistance and consultancy  to member companies. For this purpose a permanent team has been established, the TAPI (Team for Legal Assistance and Advocacy) at national level as well as in some provinces.

Appointed as members to this team are experienced retired APINDO Board Members or Personnel Directors, beside other younger lawyers specialising in the field of industrial relations and the industrial disputes settlement. The team is to provide assistance to the enterprises on case by case basis, e.g. for cases at the P4P (the Central Body for the settlement of Industrial Disputes) and the P4 Provencial.

The Team is also to answer questions on legal issues as raised by the Board of APINDO. Another assignment is the review of certain products of legislation, the results of which will be for submission to the Ministry of Manpower for further success.
